Step 1:Select Duplicates and Get Started
Firstly, download and install 4DDiG Duplicate File Deleter on your computer and launch it. Here select Duplicates and click Get Started.

Step 2:Choose Folders to Scan
Select Local Drive and click Next.
Select Folders to scan for duplicates.

Step 3:Customize Settings to Scan for Duplicates
Click Settings and you’ll be provided options to customize your file searching. You can choose file types here and skip specific files and folders.
Click edit icon next to the file type to edit file extensions.
Once done, save changes and click Scan to start.

Step 4:Remove Duplicates
After scanning, you will see how much duplicates finds of each file type. Click Smart Remove to delete all duplicates automatically.
Or click Review Duplicates to preview and select duplicates you want to remove. After select target duplicate files (you can also click Auto select to select largest or oldest file), simply click Remove to delete them.

Here select folders you want to scan for similar photos.

Once launched 4DDiG Duplicate Deleter on your computer, click Get Started on the interface.
Select Cloud Drive and click Next.

Step 2:Choose a Cloud Drive and Authorize
Choose a Cloud Drive on the interface and click Next. (Here we select OneDrive as example)
Then sign in with your OneDrive account and authorize

Step 3:Select Folder to Scan
Select folders to scan for duplicates. And you can click Settings to set file searching mode, file types to scan, specific files and folders to skip. Click Scan.

Step 4:Remove Duplicates
Later, you can click Smart Remove to delete duplicates, or click Review Duplicates to preview and select files to delete.
How to Use Duplicate Reminder?
4DDiG Duplicate File Deleter has a Duplicate Reminder feature. By activating the Duplicate Reminder, there is no need for you to manually search for duplicate files or waiting for scan. Whenever there are duplicates within your folders, the program will prompt you to check and remove the replicated items at a set time of the day, eliminating the need to wait for a scan.

Step 1:Open Duplicate Monitor Settings
Click the robot icon on the top right, tap Open Settings.

Step 2:Enable Duplicate Monitor and Set Notification Time
Here you can toggle on Duplicate Monitor, add a folder where you want to monitor duplicates. Then set a notification time. Save settings.

Step 3:Check Duplicates and Remove
During the notification time, you will receive a message at the bottom right on your desktop. You can choose Check to review duplicates or Ignore.

Step 4:Remove Duplicates
Here you can either choose Smart Remove to delete duplicates quickly or Review Duplicates to preview and select duplicates to remove.
